Just enough rain to slow the progress

During the aerification process we generally hope for no rain until we complete the plugging and topdressing process. After this has been completed we then actually hope for a gully washer to help wash the sand into the holes in order to fill them and compact it. The last two days we have not had enough rain to wash in the sand and just enough to hinder the dragging process (damp sand does not move much). the holes are filling in but we still have a little ways to go.
Our next steps will be to verticut the greens which will redistribute the sand and level them out and roll the greens. then it is all up to them to fill in.
