Since we have now started drying out we are finally able to get back on track with the golf course upkeep. I know we have a lot to do and I ask you to be patient with us while we work towards getting the course back up to par...(couldn't keep from throwing that in). Our top priority is getting everything cut. We are also now trying to hand water the hotspots and thin areas on the greens. With the Member Guest Tournament next weekend we still have a lot of work to do. After playing 18 holes yesterday, my assessment of the course is that it looks like we are just coming out of February or March where the winter thins everything out. In reality the turf is about 2 months behind where it would normally be due to the long winter. We have fertilized the course as well as the greens. this will help but what we need is 70 degree nights to help the grass start spreading.
