"WARNING" The Heat is on!
We are still having heat warnings. Please be careful while trying to get your 18 holes of play in. The biggest tip I can give you is that if you are feeling the heat on the front nine, why not call it at the day at 9 holes and get some refreshments. It is better to get 9 holes of play in each day then to get heat stroke and not be able to play for a week or more. You have to listen to your body and know when to just say "that's enough". Our own worker Richard Millet heat stroked Saturday afternoon while cutting all of his extra yards. He was so bad he had to get his wife and friend to come from slidell and pick him up and drive his truck home. The heat is not a joke and we have had more heat advisories this year so far then in any other year that I can remember. So please take good care of yourself.
