Cultural Practices

With Springtime finally arriving it is time for us to start doing our cultural duties, which helps our course stay healthy. These practices include Verticutting and Topdressing the Greens as well as Aerification of the whole golf course. It also includes our fertilization and Micro nutrient programs for our Greens and Tees.
We will be starting our program this following Monday, March 22nd with the Verticutting and Topdressing of our greens. While Verticutting is one of the main ways of controlling the grain in the turf it is also used to help level out the humps and bumps on the surface of the greens. As the greens grow in they will be putting much better.
